More Than a Place to Live – Basic concepts in Supportive Housing 8 hours
This workshop introduces the concept of supportive housing and wrapping recovery services around tenants. Attendees will investigate programs designs that will work for the populations they serve and realize that housing is recovery. Attendees will understand that this approach to supportive housing is a program that moves people along the continuum of housing. It will help attendees outline development plans and look at the special needs of the populations they serve. This workshop is based on HUD Supportive Housing Training and utilizes HUD materials and Curricula. Certificates of completion are issued at the completion of training. Fee $175.00
