Family Crisis Plan  30 hours

 This course is designed to assist family members, care givers and/or friends and supporters to develop a plan for dealing with a member of the family that has recovery needs and issues. Provides psycho-education of the disease and issues and develops a wellness toolbox for each family member, a daily maintenance plan, a respite plan, coping and action plans, early warning signs and actions plans, symptoms and approaches and coping skills, crisis management plans and action steps,  and post crisis and review plans. The plan addresses each member of a family and provides tools so that one member of the family doesn’t dominate a family and be the driving force in family dynamics. This course is based on evidence-based curriculum research by Roberta L. Howard.
