Crisis to Care Training Level 1 4 hours
An introductory course is for people involved with clients in low risk employment settings. This course teaches safety first methods to keep a worker safe and take precautions for safety of self and others, how to avoid placing one in a dangerous situation, best practice for maintaining a safe environment, how to defuse a situation, how to defend and how to keep others safe. This curriculum is based on the work of Michael Fabre and Roberta L. Howard. Certificates of completion are provided.

Crisis to Care Training Level 2 5 – 6 hours
This course is designed for people in employment settings which the risk may be likely or crisis: guidance clinics, hospitals, First Responders, etc. Training concentrates on safety precautions, physical dangers, blood borne pathogen dangers, how to keep a safe rescue situation, how to defuse a crisis situation, assessing a crisis situation, best safety practices for yourself and others, and defensive positions. This curriculum was adapted from Hazeldon’s curriculum by Michael Fabre and Roberta L. Howard to address changes in Federal and State guidelines regarding crisis situations and care.
