At the New Hope Recovery Center in Prescott, recovery is a journey of hope punctuated by laughter and the warmth of great fellowship.
The flagship of the consumer-run recovery centers by Northern Arizona Consumers Advancing Recovery by Empowerment (NAZCARE, Inc.). The administrative offices are located on the top floor of the two-story Victorian home at 599 White Spar that houses New Hope Recovery Center.
Day Services include Support Groups that are general support to specific support groups: the bipolar disorder, groups, depression, PTSD, etc. and suicide prevention class, Wellness Action Recovery Plan classes and training, arts and crafts classes, dream interpretation and journaling are a sampling of the activities and training facilitated by consumers. Current classes also include a smorgasbord of recovery that focuses on assertiveness, win-win negotiating, healing your inner child, health communication and identifying & achieving your dreams.
Peer Support is a focus of our recovery strategies. Having a person believe in you, help you down the same path the person has once traveled is of great value and really helps an individual down the pathway to recovery.
