A Commitment to Recovery and Empowerment

Much of the focus at AZPIRE reflects a great commitment to recovery and empowerment. Services provide peer support, support groups, work readiness training, including Social Security benefits workshops, Wellness Recovery Action Planning classes and training, behavioral health consumer rights/self advocacy classes, and behavioral health peer support/mentoring. AZPIRE has tremendous arts and crafts classes and activities to stimulate social interaction, the tactic senses and increase self esteem.
AZPIRE has a number of excellent volunteers. They’re highly educated, motivated and talented,” said a staff member with AZPIRE in Flagstaff. "We like to think of AZPIRE as our second home, as well a home of miracles.” Volunteers and staff greet members with warmth, genuine interest and an obvious knowledge of challenges and possibilities on the road to recovery.
